Once the axes are down, the battlefield comes alive.
Grab a padded sword and shield and prepare for Nexus Battlefield’s medieval combat experience.
Participants learn basic striking, blocking, defending, and countering before entering a series of team battles and objective-based games.
Battle modes can include:

Participants receive instructions before axe throwing or combat begins and must follow all Nexus Battlefield staff directions throughout the event.
King’s Clash uses padded combat equipment with controlled body strikes.
Core battlefield rules include:
• No strikes to the head or neck
• No sword-tip thrusting
• Controlled body strikes only
• Respect other participants and equipment
• Follow battlefield instructor directions
Axe throwing participants also receive instructions covering safe axe handling, throwing procedures, and throwing-area rules.
